The Tale of Kathy

In the dorm I'm currently staying at is called Morton Hall. Morton Hall is one of the three oldest buildings on campus and they say that there is a girl named Kathy that haunts the place. They told us on the first night we arrived her story. Her story is simple one, but at the same time filled with confusion as to how everything happened.

Kathy was a student at NAU at the time, and was madly in love with her boyfriend. Their plans were to get married once he returned from the war. During her days she hung out in the basement and was close friends with the janitors that worked there at the time. But one day she received a call from her boyfriend breaking off the engagement and told her that he didn't love her.

Broken hearted she fell into a depression. She stopped showing up to her classes and even the janitors were starting to worry because they hadn't seen her around. They went to check up in her room and found blood on the floor but no Kathy. They found her later up in the attic where she had hung herself. Three days later they had found a dead baby in the basement where Kathy used to hang out.

Some people think Kathy was pregnut and she had killed herself after giving birth, leaving the baby for the janitors to find. Kathy had died in 1932. (Or I believe that is the year).

But I've had really weird experiences all ready within the two weeks of being here. Maybe she is really hanging around.
